Roesland - North Pender
Island
A lovely seaside park with an arbutus- and Douglas-fir-covered islet, Roesland on North Pender Island is a nice place to spend an afternoon. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the end of Roe islet, where you’ll find bench to rest on. This is a good spot to watch the sunset from.

Once a farm, Roseland was turned into a resort in the 1920s and remained popular resort until it closed in the 1990. Many old, dilapidated cottages litter the park and are fun to peek in. Eventually the original Roe house, located on parkland, will house a museum.
