Narvaez Bay - Saturna Island

Narvaez Bay on Saturna Island is a beautiful, fairly undisturbed bay that is surrounded by regenerating Douglas fir forest. The area is a great place to go for a hike and enjoy a picnic.

Getting to Narvaez Bay:

Access is by water (boat or kayak) or from land (bicycle or car). Winter Cove is located on Saturna Island in the Southern Gulf Islands of BC, about five kilometres from the ferry terminal at Lyall Harbour. BC Ferries offers ferry service to Saturna Island from Tsawwassen on the Mainland and Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island.

There are a few different trails to explore in the Narvaez Bay park area, many are moderate or strenuous, depending on which trails you choose. The main trail leads you down to a stunning shoreline and only takes about half an hour (one way).
